Strike Back & Zen Win at RTS Craft & Design Awards 2011
The winners of the RTS Craft & Design Awards 2010/2011 were announced last night, with Left Bank’s Strike Back and Zen each picking up an award.
Strike Back: Project Dawn, produced by Left Bank Pictures for Sky1 HD / HBO Cinemax, received the SFX award for its “precision effects and stunts achieved with perfect timing, combined with fast-paced choreography, delivering high-tension drama in a way that is rarely seen on television.”
Stunt Coordinator Antony Stone said: “It’s been a wonderfully exciting journey. I would like to thank the production team, especially producers Marigo Kehoe, Andy Harries, Michael Casey, Bill Shephard, Trevor Hopkins, Lance Samuels and director Dan Percival.”
Zen, also produced by left Bank Pictures for BBC One, picked up an award for ‘Music – Best Original Title’. Composer Adrian Johnston was recognised for his “sexy, sophisticated and very classy” title music, with “beautifully understated references to Bacharach and David. A real signature tune.”
The ceremony was held at the Savoy, London. Read the full list of winners here.
