Zen holds sway over Marple
Zen, 9pm on BBC1 (Sundays 2 – 16th Jan) Left Bank’s new detective series starring Rufus Sewell began its three-part run with an average of 5.114 million views over the weekend, a 20% share between 9pm and 10.30pm, beating ITV1’s Agatha Christie’s Marple, which averaged 4.3 million, a 17.4% share, between 9pm and 11pm.
Famous and Fearless, Channel 4, 8pm – the return of Chris Evans to Channel 4 with live extreme sports show in which celebrities race monster trucks (and similar pursuits) began its six-part run with 2.088 million viewers, an 8% share, between 8pm and 10pm, with another 336,000 on Channel 4+1.
