Kenneth Branagh returns as Inspector Wallander in three detective dramas based on two best-selling novels Before The Frost & The Dogs of Riga, by Henning Mankell, with the third adaptation based on Mankell’s short story ‘The Grave’.
The heart of the third series focuses on Kurt Wallander’s relationship with his ever maturing daughter following the death of his father, and is set in Southern Sweden for the first and third episodes and Riga, Latvia and Sweden for the second episode.
